Controlled environments for the defence industry and special production
Zero tolerance for error. Full confidentiality. Proven industrial competences.
Defence and special production operate in a regime where tolerance for environmental error is zero and confidentiality requirements go beyond standard industrial procedure. Aramid composite bonding loses strength at humidity swings of ±5% RH. Night-vision optics require an ISO 5 cleanroom. Ammunition coating and packing zones are ATEX environments with special procedures. Storage of precision instruments requires a stable 20°C ±0.5°C for 8,760 hours a year — no exceptions, no downtime, no excuses.
Clima Line delivers complete controlled environments for industrial plants and special-purpose manufacturers — from concept design, through cleanroom and HVAC construction, to 24/7 maintenance service with a dedicated team physically present on site. We work under the client’s full confidentiality regime, sign NDAs and produce documentation with controlled access.
Competences transferred directly from demanding industries
- Sterile pharma (EU GMP Annex 1) — continuous parameter monitoring with 7–10-year data retention. These validation procedures are structurally identical to defence audit requirements.
- Precision glass and composites — dust control, humidity stability ±5% RH, environments for bonding and tempering processes. A direct parallel to aramid composite bonding in ballistic component production.
- Electronics and industrial automation — ESD requirements, antistatics, clean compressed air per ISO 8573-1. Identical requirements to military electronics and night-vision optoelectronics.
- ATEX zones (coating lines, processes with organic vapours) — explosion-rated HVAC equipment, LEV vapour extraction. A direct parallel to ammunition coating and packing areas.
Scope of services
- Cleanrooms ISO 5–8 — design, construction and IQ/OQ/PQ validation for optics, electronics and composite production.
- Industrial HVAC with precision control — temperature to ±0.5°C, humidity to ±5% RH, pressure cascades, ATEX-rated executions.
- Process cooling and chilled water plants — with redundancy and capacity reserve for critical processes.
- HVAC automation and BMS — continuous monitoring, alarming and parameter trends with long-term data retention as audit evidence.
- Infrastructure criticality audit — mapping single points of failure, modernisation plan.
- As-built documentation and service procedures — a complete package compliant with industry audits and NATO quality standards.
- 24/7 maintenance service — with a dedicated team on site.
Experience in numbers
Under the technical leadership of Marcin Sompoliński, PhD Eng., Clima Line has delivered five cleanrooms exceeding 1,000 m² of combined area, including a flagship 400 m² ISO 7 zone for automotive (PVB glass lamination): total airflow above 100,000 m³/h, absorption dehumidifiers 18,000 m³/h, an 800 kW chilled water plant with capacity reserve, final H14 filtration. Plus around ten retrofits of existing zones, delivered in operating plants.
The quality standards we work in daily — IATF 16949 for automotive and EU GMP Annex 1 for sterile pharma — are structurally equivalent to AQAP requirements used in NATO supply chains: traceability, process qualification, document and record control. For a plant entering special production this means a contractor who does not learn the quality regime on your project.
What sets us apart as a technical partner for the defence sector
- Confidentiality accepted from first contact. We sign the NDA before the first technical meeting. Confidentiality standards of automotive OEMs and pharmaceutical clients built a working culture directly transferable to defence requirements.
- Real expertise in critical environments — 15 years of experience, five cleanrooms above 1,000 m², dozens of retrofits under continuous production.
- 24/7 service model with a dedicated team — physically present on site, not on-call from a distance.
Frequently asked questions
Does Clima Line work for the defence industry?
We support production and technology plants with controlled environments: cleanrooms, HVAC, process cooling, humidity control, automation and service. We do not trade in armaments or military equipment — our specialisation is the technical infrastructure of production.
Can you work as a subcontractor to a general contractor?
Yes. We support the investor directly or act as a specialised subcontractor for HVAC, cleanrooms, cooling, ventilation, dehumidification, automation and service — including projects led by general construction contractors.
Do you sign NDAs and how is documentation protected?
Yes. For technology and special production projects we work under a confidentiality agreement, with restricted access to documentation within our own team. Design and as-built documentation remains under access control agreed with the investor.
Which environmental parameters can be controlled?
Depending on the process: temperature, humidity, overpressure or underpressure, air cleanliness in ISO classes, airflows, equipment operation, alarms and parameter trends — with continuous recording as audit evidence.
Planning a new production zone or a retrofit?
Describe your process, required parameters and investment stage. We will respond with a technical assessment of how we can help. Call +48 32 450 56 66 or write to biuro@clima-line.pl.
