Industrial HVAC, cleanrooms and process cooling — engineered in Poland

Clima Line is an engineering company from Katowice delivering controlled environments for industry: cleanroom construction to ISO 5–8, industrial HVAC, process refrigeration, dust extraction and 24/7 service. We work for manufacturing plants where air is part of the production process — automotive, pharmaceutical, electronics, food and defence. Founded in 2016, with a core engineering team working together in Silesia since 2013 and a 20-person team across the design office and site.

We deliver projects for foreign-owned plants in Poland and work under NDA, with design and as-built documentation issued in English. The quality standards we operate in daily — IATF 16949 for automotive and EU GMP Annex 1 for sterile pharma — are structurally equivalent to AQAP requirements used in NATO supply chains.

What we do

• Cleanroom construction — turnkey ISO 5–8 controlled environments: process design and URS, enclosure, HVAC with HEPA H13/H14 filtration, pressure cascades, automation and IQ/OQ/PQ validation. A 200–500 m² ISO 7 room typically takes 12–20 weeks, from roughly 800 EUR/m².
• Pharmaceutical cleanrooms (GMP) — grades A–D built to EU GMP Annex 1 (2022 revision), with contamination control strategy, smoke studies and full qualification documentation.
• Industrial air conditioning and process refrigeration — chilled water plants, machine cooling for injection moulding, lasers and furnaces, cold and freezer rooms, heat recovery. Sized from a heat gain balance, never from a catalogue.
• Process ventilation and dust extraction — local exhaust ventilation, dust and VOC filtration, oil mist and welding fume capture, with an air balance for the whole facility.
• HVAC automation and BMS — control design, monitoring with a GMP-compliant audit trail, and integration with plant systems.
• Industrial HVAC service 24/7 — inspections, emergency response and SLA contracts. The first installation survey is free of charge.
• Defence industry and special production — cleanrooms, precision HVAC and ATEX zones, delivered under confidentiality from first contact.
• ASF biosecurity — Sputnik System — thermal disinfection of livestock trailers above 75°C held for 15–20 minutes, without chemicals or effluent.
• Pre-lamination furnaces for laminated glass — the B1 Machine, our own product: 0.1 mbar abs vacuum, 900 m³/h capacity, Siemens PLC control.

Track record

Under the technical leadership of Marcin Sompoliński, PhD Eng., co-owner of Clima Line, we have delivered five cleanrooms exceeding 1,000 m² of combined area and around ten retrofits of facilities in continuous operation — including ISO 8 to ISO 7 upgrades carried out without stopping production.

Our flagship project is a 400 m² ISO 7 zone for automotive (PVB glass lamination): total airflow above 100,000 m³/h, absorption dehumidifiers rated 18,000 m³/h, an 800 kW chilled water plant with emergency by-pass and capacity reserve, and final H14 filtration. In the medical sector we delivered the HVAC system for a Regional Blood Donation and Haemotherapy Centre.

We are trusted by Danone, Saint-Gobain, Mubea, Antolin and PGE. We cooperate with academic staff of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and hold all licences required to design, build and operate the installations — which lets us run an investment under a single contract instead of coordinating three suppliers.

Why plants come to us

The Polish cleanroom market is dominated by enclosure suppliers — panels, ceilings and doors. Yet HVAC accounts for 50–60% of a cleanroom budget and it is HVAC that decides whether the room holds its class for ten years or starts losing it after the first season. Clima Line grew out of industrial refrigeration and process ventilation, so we do the air design ourselves — from heat balance to unit selection. That is why we take responsibility for the validation result, not only for the installation.

The same logic applies to process cooling. Where others quote a chiller from a catalogue, we start by calculating how much heat actually enters the hall — machinery, solar gains, lighting, people and air exchange. Undersizing shows up as a lost parameter in July; oversizing means a compressor cycling at low load, more expensive to buy and quicker to wear out.

Working with international clients

If you operate a plant in Poland from headquarters abroad, three things usually matter: documentation you can read, compliance you can verify, and a contractor who answers the phone at 2 a.m. We issue design and as-built documentation in English, prepare protocols for statutory Polish energy efficiency inspections in a form your head office can file, and run 24/7 service with response times fixed by contract.
