FROM CONVERSATION TO A WORKING INSTALLATION

We understand the process.
We get to work.

We design and deliver turnkey cleanrooms, HVAC installations for industry, process refrigeration and biosecurity systems. Our engineers hold building licences for design and for site management in the building services specialism, so the building design and the detailed design are produced in house and signed by a licensed person.

Technical supervision is provided by Marcin Sompoliński, PhD Eng., co-owner, doctor of technical sciences and a certified building expert in building services. For questions beyond standard design practice we work with the academic staff of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

01

Conversation and analysis

Process requirements, building constraints, heat and air balance; measurements instead of rules of thumb.

02

Design and construction

One company designs and manages the works, so responsibility for the solution and its installation sits in one place.

03

Commissioning and care

Acceptance measurements, protocols, then inspections and service under an SLA contract.

OUR HISTORY

Experience

2013

The team starts working together

Since that year, the team that now forms Clima Line has been delivering HVAC installations for plants in Silesia.

2016

Clima Line under its current name

Since February 2016 we have operated as Clima Line Sompoliński Łuc Sp. k., based in Katowice.

2026

Krajowe Forum Chłodnictwa (Polish Refrigeration Forum)

By resolution of the Board of 21 August 2026, Clima Line became a member of KFCh: entry on the members list, membership announcement (in Polish). Over 100 projects, five cleanrooms over 1 000 m², hundreds of modernisations and service jobs in operating facilities.

Who is Clima Line and how long has it been operating?

Clima Line Sompoliński Łuc sp. k. is an engineering company from Katowice (ul. Ks. Mjr. Karola Woźniaka 28) that designs and builds turnkey cleanrooms, industrial HVAC installations, process refrigeration and biosecurity systems. The team has been delivering installations in Silesia since 2013; the company has operated under its current name since February 2016. The first date reflects the continuity of the team and its projects, the second is the registration fact.

Today that means about 20 people in the design office and on site and more than 100 completed projects, including 5 cleanrooms larger than 1 000 m² and hundreds of upgrades and service jobs in operating facilities. Coverage: all of Poland, with a concentration of projects in Silesia. Selected clients: Danone, Saint-Gobain, Mubea, Antolin, PGE.

Who is responsible for the technical side of projects?

Technical supervision is provided by Marcin Sompoliński, PhD Eng., co-owner, doctor of technical sciences and building expert (rzeczoznawca budowlany) in building services. The doctorate is documented capability to carry out analysis, not just to select equipment from a catalogue. The expert title allows him to issue technical opinions and expert reports relied on by investors, insurers and building control authorities.

The third element is site practice: designs are made with knowledge of what can be installed in an operating plant and what will stay on paper. For problems requiring calculations outside standard design practice we cooperate with specialists from the academic staff of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Responsibility for the technical solution and for its installation stays with one entity.

What licences do the engineering staff hold?

Under Polish construction law, licences in the building services specialty are divided into two independent scopes, and many companies hold only one. Clima Line staff hold both: design licences (building design of sanitary, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration and gas installations) and licences to manage construction works, meaning the works manager role and a signature on the as-built documentation.

With a contractor holding construction licences only, the design has to be bought separately and no one is responsible for the interface between documentation and installation. This matters especially in cleanrooms, where a pressure cascade of 10–15 Pa and 30–60 air changes per hour must be achieved in the finished facility, not in calculations.

What is behind a million man-hours without an accident?

On our sites we have worked more than 1 000 000 man-hours without an accident at work. It is a condition for entering client sites: Danone, Saint-Gobain, Mubea, Antolin and PGE run their own contractor OHS audits. Our safety first policy means literally this: a task that cannot be done safely is not done at that moment, even at the expense of the schedule.

In practice this means workstation briefings before every new work front, written permits for particularly hazardous work (work at height, hot work, confined spaces), fencing off work areas while the plant is running, and every worker’s right to stop work without consequences. Most of our work is upgrades and service in operating facilities (we have completed hundreds of them), and an accident in an operating plant means a stopped zone, an inspection by the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) and interrupted production.

What do we deliver and at what scale?

We build ISO 5–8 cleanrooms: ISO 7 means 352 000 particles ≥ 0.5 µm/m³, 30–60 air changes per hour and a 10–15 Pa cascade; pharmaceutical GMP cleanrooms are handed over with IQ/OQ/PQ qualification. We design industrial air conditioning and refrigeration with chillers, process ventilation with dust extraction, and HVAC automation and BMS.

We design production hall cooling for the § 30a thresholds of the Polish OHS regulation: 35 / 32 / 28 / 25 °C, applicable from 11 January 2027 (Dz.U. 2026 poz. 927). The ASF Sputnik biosecurity system carries out thermal disinfection of trailers above 75 °C for 15–20 minutes. We also deliver controlled environments for the defence industry and special production, as well as industrial HVAC service.

What does membership of the National Refrigeration Forum mean?

On 21 August 2026 the Board of the National Refrigeration Forum (Krajowe Forum Chłodnictwa, KFCh) adopted a resolution admitting Clima Line Sompoliński Łuc sp. k. as a Member of the Association. KFCh brings together refrigeration and air-conditioning companies in Poland; it works on legislation, personnel certification and training on F-gases and the Central Register of Operators (CRO). The formal welcome will take place at the General Meeting in the first half of 2027.

Membership involves adopting the statute and code of ethics, and the entry can be verified publicly on the member list. It is external confirmation, not a self-declaration. This matters in process refrigeration and chillers, where F-gas obligations (the 5, 50 and 500 t CO₂e thresholds that set leak check frequency) fall on the installation operator, not on the contractor.
